Lumi-USA is a small software company out of Oklahoma, building tools that field service contractors actually need. Founded by Trey and Dakota — two guys who started in the lighting business and got tired of using software that wasn't built for the way they worked.
The Story
Lumi-USA started in the landscape lighting industry. Trey and Dakota were running a lighting business and quickly realized the software available to contractors was either too expensive, too complex, or built for a completely different industry.
The design tools were made for architects. The CRMs were made for enterprise sales teams. Nothing was made for the contractor in a truck who needs to design a job on a tablet, send a quote from the field, and keep track of 30 leads without losing one.
So they started building their own tools. What began as an internal lighting design app became Lumisketch — now a full cross-platform design and proposal tool used by lighting contractors. That led to Lumi-CRM — a sales and operations platform built for every kind of field service contractor.
